BIGO Live is a video streaming app that started off on mobile and is now making inroads into PC streaming as well. BIGO makes it really easy to stream live video, and is popular among the younger demographic in the Southeast Asia region. When users are streaming, they can receive rewards from other users, who buy “diamonds” to get stickers of items like flowers, a supercar or a ring to give to users they like. The diamonds (the app’s currency) are bought with real money.

Adobe Creative Cloud 2015 New Features

The new Creative Cloud 2015 is now available, with new features and functions to the suite of Adobe’s applications.

The full cloud suite grants you access to 20+ creative desktop and mobile apps including Photoshop CC, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Dreamweaver and more. Perfect if you are in the creative industry, but most of us wouldn’t require access to the full suite of applications. Parallels Desktop 11 Brings Cortana to the Mac

Instead of Siri, Cortana comes first to OSX through Parallels Desktop 11. It’s well integrated too, as with Parallels “Coherence mode”, Cortana can live directly on your OS X desktop instead of through a separate virtual machine.

Parallels is the popular virtualization tool for the Mac OS X, and it is now in its 11th iteration. The new Parallels 11 offers speed improvements of up to 50 percent, and a new Travel Mode which extends battery life up to 25 percent while on the go. Other speed and performance improvements include:

  • Windows launch and shutdown is up to 50 percent faster
  • File operations inside of Windows are improved by up to 20 percent

Star Wars Joins Up with Disney, Pixar, and Marvel for Disney Infinity 3.0
