Will Your Phone Get Android 6.0 Marshmallow?

Can’t exactly verify the source but the following phones are designed to get Marshmallow updates. Thankfully, it seems like most devices released within the last two years will receive the update, which is significantly better than the sorry excuse from Motorola for the Moto G. If you are using a Google Nexus device (5 and up), the updates should have been rolled out already. If you are holding on to a Nexus 4, well, there’s a workaround from Dmitry, who works at Google.

From other manufacturers, the fastest this time around is LG! There’s a LG G4 Poland Marshmallow build floating about which you can try to install but official updates should be rolling out shortly to other markets. Sony is also another manufacturer worth noting, if they do indeed support the Z1, which was a 2013 device.
