Small Mini ITX Casing Jonsbo V2 Review

Here’s a casing recommendation for those who are looking to build a small space-saving computer desktop for home or office use. This little gem by Chinese company Jonsbo, which can be easily mistaken for a sub-woofer, is the V6S mini-ITX case. It is perfect for those looking for a modern look to replace the drab old tower computers that sits on the floor, and this wouldn’t look out of place next to some art pieces.

Measuring 250 x 240 x 210 mm (WxDxH), the case features a silver plastic perforated front, frame and panels made of aluminium, and a space-efficient arrangement of the PC’s most important components. To begin with, its PSU bay is positioned forward (with a relay cable running rear), next to space for three 60 mm intake fans. The motherboard tray supports CPU coolers up to 60 mm tall, and graphics cards up to 200 mm long. Space for up to four 3.5-inch drives found on the sides of the frame. Its rear features a surprising amount of room for a 120 mm exhaust fan. There’s no space for a 5.25″ drive bay, so no optical disc drive, and may not be posible for use as a HTPC. Nonetheless, its front-panel features USB 3.0, USB 2.0/1.1, and HD audio ports.

You can buy it from PC Themes, Sim Lim Square, and at around $99 dollars. Comes with a FSP 300W SFX PSU, which is pretty decently rated. Shouldn’t have any issues powering up a Mini-ITX Build. Overall, its a nice looking casing, decently priced as it comes with a good Power Supply. FSP Power Supplies have been in the market for a good number of years and have build up their reputation.

Well, space is always a premium and anything that saves space in my books is great. If you need a desktop computer, the Jonsbo V2 is a great choice if you want something that can still look good on your table top.
