This Limited Edition Playstation 4 Console Looks Amazing

Sony’s latest limited edition Playstation 4 console rocks a gorgeous colour combination. Meant to celebrate the launch of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, the limited edition Playstation 4 and Dualshock 4 wireless controller is designed together with Konami and will be targeted for the Asia region.

The Playstation 4 is coloured the same as Snake’s red Bionic Arm. In addition, the golden connector is reimagined as an accent line across the front surface. The controller is the same colour as Snake’s right-hand gun, and is embellished with Snake’s unit logo. The overall colour scheme looks great and much better than the previous red / black limited edition that was used for the Final Fantasy special. Even if you are not a Metal Gear Solid fan, this particular limited edition should still be one to consider when it is released. Detailed product information on product name, release date, SRP and bundled software will be announced at a later date.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is the latest instalment in the franchise that have span over 28 years. The game, set in 1984, prior to the events of the original game, will feature BIGBOSS (Naked Snake) as the main character. BIGBOSS was the end villain in the first Metal Gear game, and the Phantom Pain will dive into his back story. Confused? A trip to Wikipedia should help.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is set to be the largest game in the series, featuring open world mechanics, incorporating elements such as dynamic weather and timing effects. All this will be incorporated into the stealth gameplay for a more immersive experience.

Konami Digital Entertainment Limited announced that the game will be released on PlayStation®4 on September 1, 2015 in North America, Latin America, and Europe, and September 2 in Japan and Asia.
