WhizComms – Cheapest 1Gbps Fibre Broadband
I have never heard of Whizcomms. But they claim to offer the lowest price and shortest 1Gbps fibre contract. On top of that, WhizComms will be giving FREE 3 months 1Gbps Home Fibre Broadband Plan to 1,000 customers! Ok, I am listening.
1,000 customers will be getting FREE home fibre broadband for 3 months — absolutely no obligations, no gimmicks!
As a launch promotion, WhizComms will be offering free 1Gbps home fibre broadband to 1,000 customers from 1 November 2016 with no strings attached. For three months from the date of installation, home users can enjoy free broadband with absolutely no contractual obligations at all. This promotion is believed to be the first of its kind in Singapore (although I think , where home users do not have to commit to any paid plans to get broadband at no charge at all in their homes. I submitted a request, and am waiting for them to contact me. Will be curious to find out if there are other activation charges required.

Customers can enjoy three months’ free WhizComms Broadband as long as they meet the following criteria:
• Be a Singapore citizen/PR
• Have a fibre-ready home
• Is ready for their first fibre line at home OR has an existing home broadband contract that is due for renewal within 3 months’ time
The 1,000 free home broadband lines will be given on first-come-first-served basis and customers will be able to sign up online.
Whizcomm says Singaporeans consider three things when they choose their home broadband plan: speed, price, and subscription contract period. I do agree with them, although service standards do play a part, or how fast they sell you out when a lawyer letter is served.
Pricing
WhizComms Broadband promises the lowest price and shortest contract period for 1Gbps home broadband plans among all Internet Service Providers (ISPs) in Singapore. WhizComms Broadband offers 1Gbps price plans from as low as $32/month for a 24 months plan, or $36/month for a 12 months plan, both of which include an optical network router plus delivery and installation at the customer’s home. The pricing looks attractive. Similar 1Gbps plans tend to be around $39.90 per month for a 2 year contract, but they do have some freebies thrown in.
