Xbox One S is Now Available in Singapore

The smallest and most compact Xbox ever – Xbox One S – is now available in Singapore. The Xbox One S features 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray playback, 4K video streaming, as well as High Dynamic Range (HDR) for games and video.

Not only is it 40% smaller than the previous Xbox One, the power supply is now integrated to the console, which means less clutter. The trade off is that the Xbox One S loses the independent Kinect power port connector, which is rather strange, as the Kinect could have been an interesting competitor to Google Home and Amazon Echo. Current Kinect owners can request an adapter from Microsoft.

Available in a variety of designs and storage sizes, take your pick from the following Xbox One S bundles this holiday:

Get ready for an epic war with the Xbox One S Battlefield 1 Bundle (1TB), priced at S$499. The bundle comes with full-game download of Battlefield 1 Standard Edition, one month of EA Access and a 1TB hard drive.

Gear up for one of the most acclaimed video game franchises in history with the Xbox One S Gears of War 4 Limited Edition Bundle (2TB), priced at S$629. The bundle is the first custom-designed Xbox One S bundle ever made and includes a copy of Gears of War 4: Ultimate Edition for Xbox One and Windows 10, a 2TB hard drive to store your massive collection of games, along with tons of extras.

The original Xbox One can be picked up on the cheap from S$309. That’s a good 40% discount from the Xbox One S. There’s no difference in terms of game compatibility between the Xbox One and Xbox One S so don’t need to fret if you own a current Xbox One.
