Samsung Pay Now Supports UOB and FEVO Cards

Samsung Electronics Singapore has brought on board new partners United Overseas Bank (UOB) and EZ-Link FEVO Prepaid Mastercard for Samsung Pay, making it one of the most connected mobile payment service available in Singapore.

Both UOB debit or credit cards, and FEVO Prepaid Mastercard are now supported, across the Samsung Smart phone and wearable devices with Samsung Pay support.

Samsung Pay’s comprehensive ecosystem of partners and merchants across major payment networks, banks and retailers provides users with greater convenience on-the-go, where they can enjoy the added benefits it brings. With the expanded support for new cards, wide compatibility with more Samsung devices, combined with value-added services, Samsung Pay brings consumers closer to replacing their physical wallets, while paving the way for a more holistic and enriched mobile experience.

Those using the new Galaxy S8 and S8+ can also enjoy using the integrated iris recognition technology, which is a highly secure biometric authentication system (not Face recognition). This when coupled with Samsung Knox, offers a high level of security as well as convenience to Samsung users.

Look for new partner promotions to encourage use of the new cards on Samsung Pay.
