Android: Snap Picture -> Proper Slides

ArcNote is a simple and useful app for students and business professionals. Often at talks, lectures, it is not uncommon for the attendees to whip out their mobile phone to take a picture of the presentation material. At times, we do not have access to what is being presented and have to make do with these screen grabs. ArcNote goes one step further to simplify this process.arcnote example

The procedure remains the same. Take out your Android Phone, use ArcNote to take a picture of the presentation material or do a video record of it. Whether it is grabbing content from a whiteboard, slide projection, poster or brochure, the application is smart enough to automatically crop and correct skewed presentations into nice visual notes. No more jotting down messy notes or missing out on important details. Save your time. It is the easiest way to take perfect notes with your Android phone camera, all you need to do is take a snapshot and let the app do the rest. You could also export it directly to PDF for sharing or archival purposes too.

An alternative to this is CamScanner, which is available for iPhone, iOS users, which is more for document scanning and not designed to work with skewed dimensions or presentation slides. For better or for worse, I guess we will see more people whipping out their phones to capture presentations. It is just a good practice by the presenters to employ a weblink for the audience to download their slides so that they can focus 100% on the presentation, instead of either taking photos or jotting down furiously.
