Xiaomi MiPad is Coming to Singapore

The Xiaomi MiPad, which closely resembles the Apple iPad Mini, with a 7.9″ screen and 4:3 form factor would be coming to Singapore very soon. The MiPad is powered by the powerful NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor, which is the same processor as that of the Nexus 9. This tablet is originally priced at 1499 RMB in China, and while current pricing in Singapore is unknown, Xiaomi is organising a giftaway for the lucky fan who guess the price correctly.

  • 2GB RAM, 16GB Flash, extendible to 128GB via microSD card.
  • 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera.
  • 802.11ac 2×2 Wi-Fi.
  • 6700 mAh battery.

Although it has been out for some time, it still ranks competitively as one of the better tablets in the market. A 7.9″ tablet could be a nice present to get, and perhaps just in time for a valentine’s day present.
