Samsung Announces Two Cool Star Wars Robot Vacuum

Samsung just made the coolest possible robot Vacuum cleaner, with the launch of two Star Wars themed Powerbot VR7000 vacuum cleaner, that Samsung says works great from “hardwood to Hoth”.

These special bots come in Darth Vader and Stormtrooper designs. Based off the Powerbot cleaner, it has nine smart sensors to map the shape of each room, and is smart enough to avoid your furniture while it goes about on its rounds. Samsung bot has pretty great connectivity and works over the app and is also compatible with Google Home and Amazon Alexa. Besides the iconic design, these vacuums feature sound effects and phrases iconic to their respective character.

These Star Wars themed cleaners will land on November 5th, in the for the Last Jedi Premiere. The Stormtrooper model sells for $699, and the Vader model is more expensive at $799 because it also includes Wi-Fi. Now, had Samsung made an R2D2 or C3PO robot vacuum cleaner, you could have then said that “these aren’t the droids you are looking for”. Until then, you got to make do with these two, but they are still great gifts for Star Wars fans.
