SteelSeries Stratus XL Comes to Singapore

The SteelSeries Stratus XL iOS gaming controller would be made available for purchase from the Singapore Apple Store next week. The Stratus XL might be the perfect pairing for gaming on your iPad or other iOS devices.

The controller is full-sized, with the same button layout as the traditional console controllers so seasoned gamers would have no problems adapting to it. Overall, looks like improvements all around from the original SteelSeries Stratus. Furthermore, it is US$10 cheaper than the original SteelSeries Stratus (US$79.95).

SteelSeries says the controller will support any iPad, iPod touch or iPhone running iOS 7 or later, and promises up to 40 hours of battery life while gaming. It runs on AA batteries so it’s pretty easy to get replacements. It’s equipped with four LED indicator lights, a dedicated pairing button and more while offering a full-sized controller experience complete with pressure sensitive buttons and left and right analog triggers.

Gaming compatibility and support on the iOS platform looks good – the Stratus XL operates with hundreds of compatible titles, including the new FIFA 15 Ultimate Team, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Limbo, Transworld Endless Skater, Crimsonland HD, Wayward Souls, Minecraft, Oceanhorn and more.
